In regards to the law I'm an not fully qualified to answer, however the ultimate priority for the asset managment company and the Estate Agent is to achieve the best possible price for the sale of the property. Are there any rules on this? We are trying to buy a reposession (we are really really far down the line) and another person has put in a higher offer but hasn't provided proof of deposit. The estate agent have put forward this offer and I feel that they shouldn't have put forward this offer without the proof of deposit. Is this law? Are there any rules on this?
